Alive in Jesus
New Children’s Sabbath School Curriculum Starting 1st Quarter 2025
Proverbs 22:6 tells us to “train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” Such training is no small task.
As Ellen White shares:
“Nothing is apparently more helpless, yet really more invincible, than the soul that feels its nothingness and relies wholly on the merits of the Savior. By prayer, by the study of His Word, by faith in His abiding presence, the weakest of human beings may live in contact with the living Christ, and He will hold them by a hand that will never let go”
The Ministry of Healing, p. 182
The goal of the Alive in Jesus Sabbath School curriculum is to encourage young people to hold on to Jesus’ hand that will never let them go, to know truth as revealed in His Word and grow daily in their relationship with Him, to stand tall and worship the Creator alone in these last days, and to go and share this with others to make a difference for eternity.
Alive in Jesus incorporates what is known about the stages of faith development and the important role of parents and caregivers in nurturing faith. It is truly best educational practice meets Bible narrative in order to grow faith and impart a clear Seventh-day Adventist worldview.
