Alice Capps Hudgins

Alice Capps Hudgins was born to E.M. and Minnie Meleen in Bangalore, India, where her parents were missionaries. She loved India which was her home for 18 years. She has three sisters. Alice was homeschooled by her mother and various tutors. She attended boarding school at Vincent Hill School in India, Seminaire Adventiste in Collonges, France, Union Springs Academy in New York and graduated from Atlantic Union College in Massachusetts. She is a world traveler, a former schoolteacher, mother of four, a grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was married to the late Sam Capps for 57 years. After his death, she married James H. Hudgins, a retired teacher. They live a busy and active life in Keene, Texas where they are members of the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church.
