Beverley Ramages was born in beautiful Cape Town, South Africa, and trained as a lawyer. In recent years she has developed a keen interest in the art of vegetarian cooking. According to her, this ‘interest in food was awakened way back in 1982 when my husband discovered that his new bride could not really cook and bought me a vegetarian cookbook!’ Since then ‘food and flavors’ have captured her attention, awakening a passion for tasting different fruits, vegetables and herbs.
Beverley’s discovery that different cuisine has its own definitive vegetarian delights is something she loves to share. Her popular cooking show, Green with Vitality, produced by the Hope Channel (www.hopetv.org/watch/international) has already been broadcast in two 13-part series.
