The Shalom Quartet began in Puerto Rico in 1978. In 1981 they toured the United States, the Dominican Republic, and the Virgin Islands. The group moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1983 and began working with Pastor Milton Peverini, director of La Voz de la Esperanza. In 1984, Pastor Peverini invited them to be the first Spanish version of the King’s Heralds, a role they filled for four years. Today they continue to travel, assist with evangelism, and sing songs of Jesus. Many have been baptized because of their ministry. Their prayer is that the Lord will continue to use them to win souls to the soon-coming kingdom.
