Shortly after graduating from high school, Del Delker accepted Christ through the influence of a religious radio broadcast called the Quiet Hour. She sang for them only a short time before she was called to be a contralto soloist for the Voice of Prophecy international radio broadcast.
While attending La Sierra University in California, she continued her concert tours and radio music ministry. From the university, Del received a degree in religion with special emphasis in counseling.
Del has participated in a total of 70 recording that include two children's albums, 32 solo albums in English, four in Spanish, two in Portuguese, and one in Ukrainian. Her first CD, "Forever Grateful," was issued in 1996.
Del has crisscrossed North America many times to take part in meetings and concerts. Her music ministry has also taken her to Central America and the Caribbean, South America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, and the Far East. She has sung hymns and gospel songs in English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Ukrainian, Arabic, Navajo, Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, Indonesian, Ilocano and Tagalog (two languages of the Philippines), Swahili, and Afrikaans.
During her leisure she enjoys reading, participating in water sports, and listening to a variety of music.
