Esther Alonso

Before she could sing the "Star Spangled Banner," Esther Alonso (aka "Tete" by her family) was already writing her own songs for Jesus. In her debut album Esther included a sample of a home recording of when she was only 4 years old. In her child-like words, she sends out the message for all bad people to be good. "Singing for Jesus is all I have ever wanted to do with my life."

Born in Orange, California on May 31, 1974, Esther grew up the ninth of ten siblings. Esther's driving force in life has been her passion for music. "Spiritual gifts, are powerful tools used by God to touch people's hearts. Being used by HIM, is my definition of success. Plus, I get to travel!"

Within the last year and a half, Esther has taken her message to hundreds of young people in different parts of the country. Her latest satisfaction is to have been able to witness through her songs in different venues while she studied French in Paris this last July. She is currently featured in fishfeed.net, a Christian artist review website.

"When I have the opportunity to sing in front of young people, my heart ignites with purpose and meaning. That is exactly what I want to transmit to them. I want to let each one of them know that God created them for a purpose, and knew them even before they were formed in their mother's womb." Jeremiah 1:5

Today, her projects include: taking her music to Christian Academy and University campuses; learning French and translating her music; establishing her ministry, Esther just recently founded Hope In Music Publishing Company; and Esther's biggest project is to become available spiritually, physically, and mentally to be used by the Holy Spirit.
