Félix H. Cortes is associate professor of New Testament literature at the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary, Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Michigan. He is married to Alma Gloria Alvarez Yanes, and they have two children: Hadid, and associate pastor in the New Jersey conference, and Alma, a graduate student in archaelogy. Cortez enjoys running, sports, sightseeing, reading, woodworking, and music.
