Greg King
Greg A. King is chair of the Religion Department and professor of biblical studies at Pacific Union College where he has served on the faculty since 1987. He has degrees from Southern Adventist University, Andrews University, and a doctoral degree in Old Testament from Union Theological Seminary in Virginia. He has spoken before church groups at camp meetings, revivals, and other gatherings in a variety of locations both in the United States and abroad, including New Zealand, Brazil, and Austria.
Additionally, his articles have appeared in a number of publications, such as the Adventist Review, Ministry, and Andrews University Seminary Studies. Prior to teaching at PUC, he did pastoral work in Des Moines, Iowa, Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Atlanta, Georgia.
He and his wife Mary have two sons, Jonathan and Joshua. His hobbies include basketball and softball and he also has his General class amateur radio license.
