Jo Ann Davidson, PhD, is Professor of Systematic Theology at the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University. She finds deep joy in teaching about the blessings of the Sabbath and sharing biblical truth with students and audiences around the world.
Davidson earned her doctorate in Systematic Theology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in 2000. She has authored numerous articles for publications such as Adventist Review, Signs of the Times, Andrews University Seminary Studies, and the Journal of the Adventist Theological Society, in addition to contributing a long-running column, “Let’s Face It,” in Perspective Digest. Her books include Jonah: The Inside Story (Review & Herald), Toward a Theology of Beauty: A Biblical Perspective (University Press of America), and Glimpses of Our God (Pacific Press).
Beyond her academic and writing work, she treasures family life with her husband, Richard, and their two grown children and their spouses.
