José H. Cortes Jr. has spent 25 years in pastoring, youth and young adult ministries, soul winning, church planting, and leadership. He holds an MDiv from the Andrews University Theological Seminary and a bachelor’s in theology from Washington Adventist University. José and Joanne Cortes, his wife and companion in ministry, have two sons, José III, and Joel Benjamin.
