Jose Luis Amaro
José Luis Amaro is one of the rising stars in the field of Christian music, with a singing style that has impress countless members of the Adventist church.
José Luis was born in Morelos, Mexico in 1972, but for the last seven years has made the United States his home. When he was only four years old, his grandfather would take him to Bible studies and have him sing. Since then, he has been asked to sing at many different religious functions. In 1999 he recorded his first cassette and CD entitled Ven Santo Espíritu (Come Holy Spirit). This was quickly followed by a 2000 release entitled Creo en Ti (Lord, I Believe In You).
José Luis has been invited to various functions in the North- and Inter-American Divisions. His albums can be heard on radio, no only in the United States, but also in Central and South America. José Luis's concerts always include spiritual comments, testimonies, and appeals to a wide range of people in the audience. He has been a guest artist for La Voz de la Esperanza Rally in Los Angeles, California and for the North American Division Native Evangelism Initiative Ministries Convention in Loma Linda, California.
José Luis enjoys listening to other Christian artists like Jaci Velazquez, Steve Green, and Bryan Duncan, to name a few. He has a very pleasant, outgoing, winning personality, is a gourmet cook, and enjoys outdoor sports.
José Luis feels that God has called him to a singing gospel ministry to reach members and non-members alike with the message of Christ's love and hope.
