Elder Juan Carlos Viera currently serves as secretary of the Ellen G. White Estate in Washington, D.C. The Ellen G. White Estate is the church organization that is in charge of maintaining and safeguarding Mrs. White's writing as a source of counsel and inspiration for some ten million Seventh-day Adventists around the world. Elder Viera has served the church as a pastor, departmental director, and administrator at all levels of church organization.
