Kayla Tiare Louis
Kayla is a vivacious young lady who enjoys her friends, music, helping her teacher, and most importantly, loves the Lord. Her desire is to use her music to share the awesome love of God with other boys and girls. She wants to use her talent to be a missionary for Jesus.
At the age of three Kayla used to just sit and watch her "papa" (Michael Harris) sing. Once he was lying on the floor learning a song, "Beulaland", when Kayla came and sat beside him. To our amazement she joined in singing the chorus. She would sing all day long. She sang with the television programs, commercial jingles, radio, or songs she learned in school. You would always know where she was. We decided to try her out with sound tracks at seven years old. She did her recording at the age of eight while in the third grade.
Kayla has visited the Fiji Islands and New Zealand. She hopes to go back to both soon. She enjoys spending time doing arts and crafts as well as playing with her dog, Romeo.
She has been taking piano lessons for the past three years and recently is trying to learn how to play the flute.
Since the release of her CD "Little by Little", Kayla has sung at camp meetings, at a multi-cultural event at the Naval Base Ventura County in Port Hueneme, CA, and she has also sung in various churches in California. She performed at a benefit concert with her grandfather at her school to raise money for playground equipment. Kayla recently sang at a celebration for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the Naval Base Ventura County in Point Mugu, CA. Kayla attends Linda Vista Elementary in Oxnard, CA and is in the fourth grade.
