Dr. Lilya Wagner is director of Philanthropic Services for Institutions, a service of the North American Division of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. She serves at the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University, which she has been affiliated with since 1991. Lilya has also served as vice president for Philanthropy at Counterpart International in Washington, D. C.; vice president at the National Association for Community Leadership; and vice president for Advancement at Union College. She is a frequent speaker in North America and internationally. Her published writings include articles and book chapters on philanthropy, fund-raising, and the nonprofit sector.
