Linda Porter Carlyle spent eight years as a classroom teacher, and for the last 20 years she has been a home-schooling Mom. She lives in rural Oregon with her husband, her youngest daughter, three cats, one dog, and a rabbit. Life in the Carlyle house is filled with music, reading, writing, learning, and laughter. Linda has written 14 children's books, many magazine articles, and hundreds of stories for children.
