Music has always been a part of Maddy Couperus's life. She sang for her first crusade at 2 +, sang in her home church, and for various community programs. At the age of seven she began singing harmony with her sisters and they were known as the Custer Sisters Trio for many years.

Maddy graduated from Lynwood Academy and attended La Sierra College. She married Peter Couperus, had two daughters, Heather and Hilary, and raised her family in Sacramento, California. After a personal spiritual renewal, Maddy became burdened with the desire to work in evangelism and through a series of God-given circumstances she has been the soloist for the Kenneth Cox Evangelistic team for 11 years. Maddy is affiliated with Three Angels Broadcasting through the Kenneth Cox Ministries, and has been on numerous satellite uplinks and various video presentations. She has also been on the Voice of Prophecy Reunion projects.
