Merlin L. Neff, 1906-1964, authored 21 books in his lifetime plus numerous magazine and professional articles, including the original Bible Pageant Series. He was head of the La Sierra College English department. A 1927 graduate of Pacific Union College, Dr. Neff also held master's and doctorate degrees from the University of Washington and an honorary doctor of law degree from Walla Walla College.
