Oscar Hernandez
Though he has lived in eight countries, Oscar Hernandez was born in El Salvador, Central America. He did his undergraduate work at Columbia Union College in Takoma Park, Maryland, then achieved an MDiv degree from Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Michigan. Oscar earned a DMin degree from Westminster Theological Seminary in Escondido, California.
Oscar has pastored churches in the Southeastern California and Texas conferences and been director of Bible School and Development for the Spanish Voice of Prophecy, La Voz de Esperanza. He has taught theology at Chile Adventist University and been an ADRA director in Ecuador. Currently, Oscar is the director of Multilingual Ministries at Pacific Press Publishing Association.
With the Bible in My Hands is Oscar's first book, though he has written articles for denominational publications. He and wife, Norma, have three children.
