Penny describes herself as "a very active woman." Her many hobbies and personal interests include singing in her women's choir at church, competitive dance, hiking and traveling.

"I love to travel. If it wasn't for work I think I would travel everyday! I have been to many different places, including Europe, Asia, and recently, Alaska. Traveling has always given me the opportunity to learn from new cultures, it has allowed me to meet new people, and I love to meet new people to hear their life experiences, what makes them who they are."

An avid reader, Penny enjoys reading the classics, especially those by F. Scott Fitzgerald and Jane Austin. But her greatest passion remains her family. "I love getting together with all of the family and spending time with them. They are who give me the courage, strength, and motivation to do everything that I do."
