Pastor Simon Liversidge was born in Australia and grew up in a missionary family in New Guinea. He moved with his family to the United States. He graduated from Andrews University with a BA in both psychology and French and then obtained a JD from UCLA school of law in 1992. He practiced as an attorney doing corporate litigation for three years before entering the ministry. He completed his master of divinity degree from the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University and is currently working on a doctor of ministry. He has pastored for 23 years and is currently senior pastor of The Place Adventist Fellowship in Newbury Park, CA. He and his wife, Cecilia, have three wonderful children, Liam, Mia and Luc.
