Tim and Melody Davis began singing together with the Heritage Singers over ten years ago. After marrying in 1995, Tim and Melody moved to Nashville, Tennessee where Tim pursued a career as a studio singer. After their first child Christian was born, Tim and Melody felt led by God to move to the Los Angeles area. Since their move in 1999, God has blessed Tim's session singing career greatly. Melody has enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom, caring for Christian, who is now five years old.

It was through the encouragement of their Heritage friends, family, and many others that Tim and Melody decided to record their duet CD titled, The Prayer.
