Dr. Timothy Arnott is a family medicine specialist from Paradise, California. He is board-certified in family medicine. He is also a founding member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. He enjoys helping individuals regain and maintain good health through the use of nutrition, exercise, and natural healing methods.
Dr. Arnott completed undergraduate training at Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska. He obtained his medical degree at Loma Linda School of Medicine in Loma Linda, California. During his medical training, he took part in medical mission projects to Mexico, Haiti, and Africa.
Following graduation from Loma Linda University, he completed residency training in family practice at Hinsdale Hospital near Chicago. While in residency training, he traveled internationally to give health lectures in Poland, Russia, and Serbia. He has also joined medical teams providing acute health care along the Amazon River and in the Dominican Republic.
Following residency training, he spent three years in private practice with his father and brother in Knoxville, Iowa. Dr. Arnott became interested in lifestyle medicine while in residency training. Later, he joined a lifestyle medicine outpatient practice in Seattle, Washington and saw patients experience dramatic recovery from diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, and common infectious diseases by making simple lifestyle changes. Dr. Arnott enjoyed seeing patients experience dramatic health improvements at Lifestyle Center of America during six years of medical practice there. He has more recently given health talks to live satellite television audiences in North America, Australia, Africa, and the Philippines. Currently, he is in private medical practice in Paradise, California.
To share with a wider audience the principles leading to exciting health improvements, he monthly co-hosts Vibrant Life, a radio talk show aired over the LifeTalk Radio satellite network. Also, he has authored the book, “Dr Arnott’s 24 Realistic Ways to Improve Your Health”, now also available in Spanish and Korean.
Dr. Arnott met his wife, Sylvia, while in residency training at Hinsdale Hospital. They have three daughters, Jena, Hana, and Heidi. The Arnotts enjoy spending time in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California and the Rocky Mountains of Canada. Dr. Arnott also enjoys horseback riding, scuba diving, cycling, and spending time with his family.
