Tony Avila was born in Durango, Mexico, the 15th child of a homemaker and a musician. Early in his life he accepted Christ, fell in love with Him, and decided to become a minister and has been ministering for almost 20 years in the US in various states including Alaska, California, Nevada, Texas, New Mexico, Georgia and Florida.

His ministry has been as diverse as the states he has served in, for he has ministered as a Pastor, Multigrade teacher, Academy Principal, Chaplain, and Conference Youth Director.

Tony, aside from being an ordained minister, is also a Christian Latin Singer with a CD titled: "A TI", distributed by our very own Chapel Music. Tony is happily married, has two small daughters and is currently preaching and singing all around the world. God is Tony's ultimate source of strength and youth are his passion.
