"Pero nosotros todos, mirando a cara descubierta como en un espejo la gloria del Señor, somos transformados de gloria en gloria en la misma imagen, como por el Espíritu del Señor" (2 Corintios 3:18, RVR 1960).

"Debemos crecer diariamente en la hermosura espiritual. A menudo fracasaremos en nuestros esfuerzos por copiar el modelo divino. A menudo tendremos que inclinarnos a llorar a los pies de Jesús, por nuestras deficiencias y errores; pero no debemos desanimarnos..." (Ellen G. White, Mensajes Selectos, tomo 1, 337).

Cada ser humano está involucrado en una lucha constante entre la naturaleza carnal y la espiritual. Luchamos contra debilidades profundas y un egoísmo tenaz. Como dice la Biblia: "No hay justo, ni aun uno" (Romanos 3:10, RVR 1960). Como cristianos, sentimos el llamado de ser como Jesús y vivir para Él, pero "fallamos a menudo" en nuestro viaje espiritual. ¿Es posible esta transformación? ¿Podemos crecer y madurar espiritualmente? ¿Podemos alcanzar una vida de gozo y paz por la gracia de Dios? ¿Cómo?

“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord” (2 Corinthians 3:18, NKJV).

Every human is engaged in a constant struggle between a carnal and a spiritual nature. We wrestle against profound weaknesses and steadfast selfishness. Like the Bible says: “There is none righteous, no, not one” (Romans 3:10, NKJV). As Christians, we feel called to be like Jesus and live for Him, but we “fail often” in our spiritual journey. Is this transformation even possible? Can we grow and mature spiritually? Can we attain a life of joy and peace by God’s grace? How?
