Benjamin McArthur, PhD, specializes in American History with a focus on late nineteenth-and early twentieth-century cultural history. He has taught at Southern Adventist University since 1979, with the exception of a three-year stint at Southwestern Adventist University, where he served as academic dean. Dr. McArthur enjoys the classroom, which provides an opportunity to talk with students about important events, ambitions, and ideas that have shaped our tradition.
