Miguel Valdivia has worked as church pastor, editor, Conference administrator, and currently serves as the Vice President for Product Development at Pacific Press Publishing Association, in Nampa, Idaho. He has degrees in Biology, Theology and a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Idaho. He has written six books and hundreds of articles, and is currently helping coordinate the publication of the new Seventh-day Adventist International Bible Commentary.  He and his wife Olga have three grown children and eight grand-children.
