Cuando estudiamos la Biblia, obtenemos acceso al mismo poder que llamó el universo a su existencia. De acuerdo con el relato de Génesis: “Dijo Dios: Sea la luz; y fue la luz” (Génesis 1:3). Esto representa lo que ocurre en nuestra vida cuando encontramos el mensaje que brilla en las Sagradas Escrituras. A fin de conocer a Dios y crecer espiritualmente es esencial que estudiemos la Palabra. Jesús nos dice: “Escudriñad las Escrituras; porque a vosotros os parece que en ellas tenéis la vida eterna; y ellas son las que dan testimonio de mí” (S. Juan 5:39).

Este folleto nos guía en un estudio de las grandes verdades de la Biblia. A lo largo de trece semanas de estudio diario, obtendremos un conocimiento básico de las doctrinas bíblicas y del Dios amante que nos creó y nos redimió en la persona de su Hijo, Jesucristo. “De modo que si alguno está en Cristo, nueva criatura es; las cosas viejas pasaron; he aquí todas son hechas nuevas” (2 Corintios 5:17).

When we study the Bible, we gain access to the same power that called the universe into existence. According to the account in Genesis: “And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light” (Genesis 1:3). This represents what happens in our lives when we encounter the message that shines from the Holy Scriptures. To know God and grow spiritually, it is essential that we study the Word. Jesus tells us, “Search the Scriptures; for in them you think you have eternal life, and they are they which testify of Me” (John 5:39).

This booklet guides us in a study of the great truths of the Bible. Over thirteen weeks of daily study, we will gain a basic understanding of biblical doctrines and of the loving God who created us and redeemed us through His Son, Jesus Christ. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17).
