Our Story of Missions by William A. Spicer covers the span of missionary work from the early Old Testament times to the beginning of the Seventh-day Adventist Missions and its spread into Europe. Medical missions, publishing work, field evangelistic work, and schools are all part of the Seventh-day Adventist Church not something in addition to the regular work of the church, but our mission as a whole.

Even though there is still much to be done to spread the Advent message, the Seventh-day Adventist Church can praise God for what He has done in spreading widely, through the world, the light of the Advent message for this hour of His judgment. The missionary task is not too great for Him. “He will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness.”
