I grew up on the classic original, Steps to Christ. But the updated language, use of the NKJV, and shorter sentences have brought me again to Jesus and His will for my life.

I was given one in highschool, and have had to keep buying new ones because I like them so much and wear them out. Being younger, this is so much more accessible. There isn't the distraction of the old fashioned language, especially in the Bible texts. I get the original message without having to translate in my head to modern language. Every once in a while I come back to this book for my devotions time and it again blesses me and leads me into a deeper walk with Jesus.
