The Secret of Scarlett Cove

Number three in The Honors Club series! A beautiful vacation spot. A secret cove. A dead dolphin. A strange baseball-cap–wearing girl who doesn’t know the meaning of fear, and a creepy water-park owner who uses dolphins to make money. These things all collide to make Alex Timmons’ vacation on Virginia’s beautiful Chincoteague Island one he’ll never forget. What started out as an innocent attempt to earn another Pathfinder honor, turns into a wild crusade to stop the United States Navy, and Chilson’s Fantasy Land from hurting marine wildlife.

Secret of Scarlett Cove is a thrill-a-minute adventure for juniors that uses the beauty of Chincoteague Island as a backdrop for teaching kids to respect all God’s creatures, and to stand up for what they believe in. And hidden within the story are some of the requirements for earning the Marine Mammals Pathfinder honor badge.
