No matter what happened to him, Joseph trusted God and believed that He would provide a way out, and provide for his needs.

Description / God Sent a Man

God Sent A Man is the story of Joseph, who allowed himself to be prepared by God to play a crucial role in the history of Egypt and especially in the development of what became the nation of Israel.

From the author's foreword...

"It is in my mind to produce in your mind a profound and unshakable conviction that will alter your whole outlook in life and provide you with a philosophy that will transform your life from a meaningless conglomeration of fortuitous changes into a meaningful and divinely arranged plan."

The story of Joseph, son of Jacob, "constitutes the most fascinating and impressive tale in the literature of humanity."

"Men and nations are in God's hand... in everything, God works for good with those who love him."

This book is life changing. When I wanted to run away from Africa, ADRA director in Zimbabwe, lent me this book. After reading it, I knew God's plan for me was to stay in Zimbabwe and then on to South Africa. Which I did for the next 6.5 years.

A story about the life of Joseph presented in the most powerful way.

This was a foundational book for me. I read it and couldn't wait to get to the end and when I got to the end, I wanted it to go on. Every teenager should read this book. When they are wondering about the problems and disfunction they live in and compare it to the life of someone who knew how to trust God no matter what, they begin to understand a little more about God. A must-read!
